Town and Country roof replacement, at a glance
A Town and Country roof can have a dozen or more valleys and long runs where the roof meets a wall, and every one of those joints has to be flashed correctly. The shingles get the attention, but the flashing and underlayment decide how long the roof keeps water out. Call (314) 429-6000 for a free estimate.
Replacing a complex roof
More slopes and more joints mean more places for a crew to cut corners.
We plan the job before the crew shows up. That means measuring every slope, counting valleys, noting the step flashing along each sidewall and chimney, and checking how the attic is vented. On larger homes the ventilation often falls short because additions and bonus rooms were built over the years without a plan for airflow. We correct that during the replacement.
The tear-off goes to the bare deck. Damaged sheathing gets replaced before anything new goes down. Ice and water underlayment runs along the eaves, through every valley and around penetrations, with synthetic underlayment over the rest. Then the shingles, starter strip, hip and ridge caps go on as one Owens Corning system so the parts were designed to work together.
